I just read a newspaper article about "real-life human hobbits" (as it puts it), who have been discovered to have lived on a remote lost world until 12,000 years ago. To be precise, it was on the Island of Flores, and they were about 3 - 4 feet tall. I'd be interested to hear your thoughts.
